Breites US-Antikriegsbündnis erklärt 2010 zum Aktionsjahr

Anti-Kriegsmarsch auf Washington am 20 März
Permanentes Anti-Kriegs Camp am Washington Monument
Umfassendes Bündnis von Friedens- und Bürgerrechtsbewegungen

Leider gibt es kaum Berichterstattung darüber, daß sich inzwischen ein umfassendes Bündnis von Friedens-
und Bürgerrechtsbewegungen herausgebildet hat.

Ab 22. März 2010 wird am Washington Monument ein Anti-Kriegs Camp errichtet, um permanenten Protest
öffentlich zu machen. Organisiert wird das Camp von Cindy Sheehan in enger Zusammenarbeit mit World Can’t Wait,
Veterans for Peace, After Downing Street, ANSWER, Voters for Peace und Gold Star Families for Peace.

Forderungen:  
* Sofortiger Truppenabzug aus dem Nahen Osten. Schluss mit dem Drohneneinastz, permanenten Militärbasen und      Folter.
* Die Wiedergutmachung für die Schäden in den zerstörten Regionen und Hilfe für Kriegsveteranen.

Einleitende Aktion am 20. März  - Nationaler Marsch auf Washington

Zehntausende von Menschen werden am 20. März nach Washington reisen um ein Ende des Krieges im Irak und in Afghanistan zu fordern.

Der Marsch wird organisiert von der ANSWER Koalition, von der Alliance For Global Justice, Anti-War College, Dignit, Goucher Alumni for People’s Solidarity, Iraq Veterans Against the War, March Forward!, Muslim Alliance in North America, Muslim American Society Freedom, National Assembly to End the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, National Committee to Free the Cuban Five, National Council of Arab Americans, National Lawyers Guild, Peace of the Action und World Can’t Wait.

Über 700 Organisationen und Einzelpersonen unterstützen den Marsch nach Washington am 20. März bislang.

Der 20. März ist der siebte Jahrestag des kriminellen Angriffskriegs gegen den Irak.. Die Demonstration wird den sofortigen und bedingungslosen Rückzug aller US-und NATO Truppen fordern.
